SUNDAY 30th MAY
It's days like this that make all the hardship worthwhile. Just a training run over my favourite West Pennine haunts on a beautifully crystal clear afternoon with sunny spells and a cooling breeze on the tops. I set off with vigour and determination and as it turned out, ran the whole 13.5 miles in the same vain. No injury niggles, no burnout to report, this was the first run of it's kind since deep mid-winter and beyond. Today's run felt like a definitive turning point.
